ABOUT US
Shaped by the example of St. Brigid, St.Mary Magdalene, St. Dominic, as well as other desert mothers and female saints, the Sisters of Hope cultivate godly virtues by listening to the Word of God, regular prayer, and incorporating the daily rhythms of monastic life in a nurturing and empowering ecumenical community of women who are called to the tradition of prayer, work, study, contemplation, holy recreation, spiritual formation, and hospitality.
OUR VISION
The Sisters of Hope will unite women consecrated by monastic vows to God, model the Dominican values of faith, hope, love, dignity, and truth through prayer, study, community, and apostolate (evangelism).
OUR COMMUNITY
Our community observes a common way of life that binds us together for the purpose of fellowship, prayer, encouragement, spiritual growth, and service - striving to love others as Christ loves us.
OUR PASSION
We seek to integrate the wisdom of St. Brigid of Kildare, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Dominic, and other godly saints into everyday spirituality, including its application to caring for families, the broken, the sick, and the vulnerable.
GOD'S LOVE IN COMMUNITY
"When we serve the poor and the sick we serve Jesus. We must not fail to help our neighbors, because in them we serve Jesus."
~ Saint Rose of Lima
